Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and I gave a talk in Johor Baru on 27 November. The title “Dasar Ekonomi Baru vs Wawasan 2020″.

Our mission now is to take on the outdated DEB or New Economic Policy (NEP) in English. Khalid has become more and more eloquent in his speech. His speech is never emotive, but passionate and convincing. Being some one who knew the ins and outs of NEP, Khalid is the most qualified person to explain how the policy has been systematic abused. It is now coming to a point that NEP must be abolished and replaced by a system which ensure all people an equitable access to economic resources.

Our talk came out as an appeal to people to act. It is no point feeling dejected over corruption and abuses of power in front of our eyes. In 21 century, Umno still waving kris and raucously threatening the public with racial violence.

Our call: come and join us to end the rots!
