I attended the annual dinner of Melaka DAP on 29 December. The dinner was held in the state office of DAP. The whole hall was full，packed with more than 40 tables.

YB Goh Liang Shan first gave his welcome speech. It was followed by Dr Boo, DAP Johor Chairperson. Lim Guan Eng also attended and spoke at the dinner. I was also asked to deliver a speech.

I urged greater cooperation between DAP and KeADILan. I gave KeADILan’s full commitment to help DAP recapture Kota Melaka parliament seat. I vowed that our pact would enable the opposition to win not only the parliament but all four state assembly seats in Kota Melaka.

I also said it is not sufficient for opposition parties to win more seats. We must make program for change. The opposition must be prepare to change the government, to seize power either at the national or state level in order to implement reforms of our aspiration. People of Malaysia not only want the voice of protest, but increasingly they are waiting for an alternative government. DAP, PAS and KeADILan must join hand to achieve this noble goal.
