Penang State Liaison Committee Briefing
Our friend Chin Wen is getting married this weekend. Jasmine, Ginie and I drove in one car to go up to Penang earlier so that we got opportunity to meet friends in the north.
We arrived Penang at about 20:00hr Friday evening (19 January). Penang State Liaison Committee organized a briefing session with Chinese party leaders from Penang. Several Kedah members from nearby Kulim and Sungai Petani too joined the session.
The program was organized in Chinese Community Hall in Georgetown. The two-hour session was presented by Datuk Zaharin (State Chairperson), Malik (State Secretary), Law Choo Kiang (Deputy State Chairperson) and me.
We discussed the party next election strategy. Penang is considered KeADILan’s “frontline”. Our aim is to capture Penang in the next general election. No doubt this is an uphill task. That means a lot of hardwork ahead.
