Leafleting

Anti Toll Hike Coalition (PROTES) organized a small leaflting exercise on Saturday (24 Feb) at Masjid India area. We gathered about 15:00hr in front of the Mosque, some 20 activists turned up. We moved around the stalls to distribute leaflets on toll hike to shoppers and stall owners.
Unfortunately the weather was not the best for outdoor operation. It started raining from 15:30hr. We continued to visit the stalls and shops when the rain stopped.
Though this was only a small event, people are enthusiastically wait for the next big bang. We have been quiet for a few weeks; many enquired when and where is the next demonstration. They missed the excitement.
PROTES’ next anti toll hike assembly will be 3:00pm / 15:00hr, 18 March at the Summit, USJ.
