Mar 12th, 2007 by Tian
People might think that the anti-toll campaign is too quiet lately. Not true, the Anti Toll Hike Coalition will organize more protests in the coming months. The meeting held before the Chinese New Year had decided a series of continuous actions against the toll hike.
To sustain the momentum, PROTEST will organize a peaceful assembly every month at different locations in the Klang Valley.
Next protest: 16:00hr (4:00pm), 18 March, The Summit Subang USJ
There is outrageous uproar from the public about the recent toll price hike and it surely imposed a lot of effect and prob to public. and I, in a group of uniten student are doing research about this issue under the topic of ‘is the recent toll price hike justifiable or not’. maybe with your kind help could assist us in term of aggregate data or facts involved in the toll collection particularly LDP for instance like how much did they supposed to collect within the concessionaire period and supposedly should it be enough to cover the LDP cost. Or if there is any links that can give me those aggregate data. We would be more than glad if you could help us to complement our research to be more authoritative and useful.TQ
