Shih Ming Te (施明德) and his wife Chen Chia-Tzun (陈嘉å›) paid Dr Wan Azizah a visit this morning 15 March. They arrived at Anwar’s PJ Office at about 11:20hr. I accompanied a group of residents from Kampung Simpang Batu to DBKL this morning (12 March). It’s another case of land struggle. Kampong was founded prior to Merdeka. Now DBKL claimed the ownership of the land and planned to build houses for its employees.

I was totally surprised that the police held me in detention on the charge of murder attempt (on who?). In fact, I was totally unaware of my charge even when I was in the lock-up. The policemen who arrested me told me nothing and I assumed it was just the usual illegal assembly charge.

I was released at about 20:00hr on Friday (8 March). It was something came as a surprise to me. In the morning, the police dragged me to the Ampang Jaya magistrate court and applied for two extra days detention to allow further investigation.
