Finally we can see that the Malaysian Police Force is not a total waste of public money. Motivated by Umno-led government’s gracious move of granting a long overdue pay rise, the police repaid the favour with prompt action.
Barely 2 days after Umno made a police report against Malaysia Today, its editor Raja Petra was called […]

In June, I received an invitation from UiTM to attend a seminar titled “Media and Technology – Bloggers Issues and Challenges in the 21st Century”. It was to be held on 24 July 2007 at Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam.
I was surprised and delighted that blogging is now a subject of academic discussion. Out of curiosity, […]

Kemaman

We ended our talk in Kg Baru Air Jernih at about 17:30hr. Chin and our comrades (Ah Seng, Chin etc) in Kemaman took us around to do a brief sight-seeing:-
Kemaman is also famous for its local durians. Although I am not always very keen with durian, the taste was great as it reminded me durian […]

Day-vist to Kemaman

I traveled to Kemaman Terengganu last Friday 22 July. Kemaman or Kemamang as Terengganu’s locals pronounce it, borders with Pahang in the south. It is only 40 minutes from Kuantan. Najib’s announcement is a calculative move to divert his own […]

Football

About 2 weeks ago, a young passionate supporter of KeADILan requested me to blog about football. He said young people care more for football than politics.
He urged me to organize a group of KeADILan members to go to watch the Asian Cup matches.
“This is to show that KeADILan is with the young people,” […]

We waited the whole afternoon in front of Bukit Perdana Complex of Government Offices, where Nat was interrogated by the Police Cyber Crime Division. At 17:30hr Nat walked out of the police office with his family members, girlfriend Li Tsin and lawyers: Sivarasa and Latheefa. By then only a small band of hardcore supporters left […]

On Monday 16 July, I attended the launching of Said Zahari’s second memoir “Dalam Ribuan Mimpi Gelisah” and its English version “The Long Nightmare” at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. Unfortunately the officiation was done by Information Minister Zainuddin Maidin, probably the most inappropriate choice. This is perhaps because the books were published by Utusan Publications.
I […]
