Najib: Islamic State

Disclaimer: the pix is a photomontage sent to me by a friend in KB, please do not assume it is real
Najib spoke in IKIM Conference on 17 July that Malaysia was never a secular state. By defunct, he implied that we are an Islamic state.
Najib’s announcement is a calculative move to divert his own troubles in Altantuya case. As the Defence Minister, Najib also shares the responsibility of the latest helicopter crash.
Najib spent a few billions to buy so-called “state of the art†defence equipment—submarines, fighter jets, and so on, but nothing has been done on basic thing like transportation. Nuri was deployed since 1969 and this is the fourth accident of such helicopter since Najib took over the ministry. Unfortunately 21 soldiers had died.
The lack of upgrading in the basic military utilities is putting the lives of our security forces personnel at risk.
Najib’s Islamic state declaration is an attempt to cover up Najib’s embarrassment. Actually his act is not very original. The stunt has been played by Dr M before. The language and approach are exactly the same.
Najib is the last person who has the moral credential to discuss this issue. Without doubt, his intension is to provoke an antagonistic response from Non-Muslim in this country.
Now we have a Islam Hadhari prime minister, who is on fun trips all the time. Now we have a future PM who wants to set up a theocratic state. Their rhetoric will certainly lead to greater tension in our society.
Umno leaders so bankrupt in ideas; they again resort to fanning up religious sentiment to save themselves. We have to firmly fight them, yet not fall into their trap by crowning corrupted people like Najib the defender of the Faith.
Dear Tian Chua,
It is GREAT that you put a Disclaimer under the PHOTOMONTAGE.
But from my point of view* the person is not proportionate and looks weird.

The chap in the poster looks maximum stoned
The picture cannot be real!
The head (and thus brain size?) is exceptionally large when compared to the body. The (black) balls are unusually large too.
If the author is not out to deceive the audience, an honest picture should have the head pin-size.
And definitely no balls.
I saw ‘Hitman’ in a French restaurant. I think it was in France. Maybe it was not in a restaurant - it was in a cinema. I could be wrong - I think I saw it in a French restaurant in KL and they were projecting a pirated DVD with ‘Hitman’…. or they projecting it with someone else… Maybe Hitman was holding the projector..? Maybe it was someone else - who?! I can’t remember… amnesia hits me at the wrong time all the time…. and at the wrong place. With a state of mind like that I can only work as a politician. Maybe it is not amnesia but Reagan’s dementia and Malaysia….
Maybe I was with a hitman or a hitwoman…? Or some guys hitwoman..?
I know my story is fulla holes - like that pie chart behind Hitano, I mean the bull’s eye not bull manure… I don’t do bull manure - put me in front of a judge and I’ll prove it!
Some people get infuriated when others cast doubt on their story. I don’t. Did you hear me complain about those stories circulating all over about me? Did you see me blow my top like some tops get blown when they added pictures to the rumours? And all over the internet? Did I send the goons in to do the heavy stuff on those naughty little nasties who spread stories about me which could be more bull’s eye than bullsh*t?
Did it looked like I was grossly affected by those silly stories than the sad fact that I should have known better and work harder at making honesty a byword in government? I know honesty is more a bye bye word with the rot lot and I should spend more time hanging around my desk doing an honest day’s work for the glory of my country than hanging out and pissing about possibly in a restaurant listening to Piaff.
You think I am touchy, eh?! It must be the food I ate at the French joint, you know those snails’ undersides or those frogs’ thighs… or was it somebody’s thighs… Hmmmmm…. somebody… Was I with somebody? Body… body… hmmmmmm….. can’t remember… I just can’t hit that nail on the head… I need some of you guys out there to do that for me - I mean refresh me not hit a head for me.
I can’t think straight - but then I don’t talk straight either… That Chardonnay at Le Inspecteur Clouseau must have been corked. Was it Le Inspecteur or was it the Bonnes a Tuer, the ‘Ripe for Killing’? Give me a clou, guys…. refresh me! Send me a picture or two to remind me where I was or wasn’t. There must be a body of evidence out there…. or was it an evidence of a body…. Get on with it lads - post that pic and help me out!
Even you, that Nattan - or is it alTan troublemaker!
Dear Mr Chua,
Thank goodness that you warn viewers of the fake pic. Otherwise, Kelvin Ng would insist u go to prison this time round.
Then the actual issue would be drown by righteous joker and Najib and the whole BN would get away again or the mainstream UMNO, MCA and MIC papers would continue their lies and propaganda.
Long live the determined, courageous and daring bloggers.
Whaddya know?
The hitman`s cousin is taking out the kris:

What’s the point of upgrading the defense sector when the basic infra-structures for the society are ill-conceived. It’s like throwing good money after bad money.
Just who is the country’s enemies to the extent so much tax payers’ money are spent in getting the defense gears e.g. tanks, helicopters, fire-power etc etc.
Spending the money to clean up the drains, clean up the back lanes, spruce up the cities with basic amenities are definitely desperately needed………maybe a day in the calendar should be allocated as “National Sorry Day” for reminding those involved that throwing money on defense or some aimless projects are not wise.
I’m by no means one of eastwood’s biggest fans, but having watched play misty for me, white hunter, black heart and unforgiven in reasonably rapid succession lately, I find myself increasingly impressed by the willingness of eastwood the director to allow eastwood the actor to appear in a poor light.
Malaysia bans reporting on Islamic state debate
Kuala Lumpur, July 20: Malaysia’s government has banned the mainstream media from reporting on the highly sensitive issue of whether the country is an Islamic state, an official said today. Deputy Prime Minister Mr Najib Razak sparked a storm last week when he declared that mostly Muslim Malaysia was not secular but an Islamic state that protects the religious rights of minority groups.
Government leaders, opposition parties, lawyers and activists have condemned Najib’s comment, saying Malaysia was set up as a secular state by the country’s first leaders after independence from Britain in 1957. The internal security ministry has issued a directive to all mainstream media to stop reporting on the issue, said a ministry official, who asked not to be named due to the sensitive nature of the issue. “We want to stop this issue being aggravated into becoming a public debate as this will create tension,†he said. “This is a very sensitive issue… As far as possible, we want to prevent (any racial) tensionâ€. The official said the media are allowed to publish comments by Najib and PM Mr Abdullah Ahmad Badawi but statements from anyone else should be disregarded. n AP
Dear All,
This is the typical political agenda of these BN imbeciles. They talked all they like about so-called “sensitive issues” of race, religions and even have it broadcast in the media. But anybody else mentioned it they charged them with inciting racial and religious hatred and trundle out these racial and religious cards to continue to divide the raakyat.
Who do they think they are fooling? No more, should be the chant of the raakyat in ousting these bastards from power. They have been in power for too long so much so they are punch drunk with power and continue to exploit the raakyat as if it is their personal fiefdom.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?…. the romans wondered….
I want to pose the question again as it is very much relevant now as it was all the centuries ago. Malaysia is by no means comparable to rome. The colosseum seems wee in front of the magnus KLCC….. romans have the senate we have our parliament….. romans are a christian state and we are a muslim state, sorry, an islamic state. Generations of Premiers assured us of this, so why must we- a lowly hypnagogic docile citizens have even a nerve to dispute this! how dare we!!! When your leader tells you something, respect whatever it is said and treat it like gospel… ok…. questions are a waste of time…..
if London has the london eye we must have it as well….. if the west sends people up the moon, why cant we do it… it is in the name of science after all….. our Highness A. badawi says, WE want those space men to go up there, and show the west how to play ‘batu seremban’ without gravity- i can just see it…. ‘reporting live, ESPN, when it happens, as it happens, the Malaysians are now attempting to play batu seremban UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS- WITHOUT GRAVITY’!…. now tell me- as a Malaysian, why am i not proud? we send our rep to both poles of the earth- i think the noble intention was to investigate human physiology under extreme conditions i dont know the specs, but i dont see her with a heart monitor…. so there we have it, Malaysia has the first lady who alone conquered north pole, and then south pole, for research purposes i gather…. i wonder how would a baking hot country like MAL-asia would benefit from such a stunt and i wondered as well how would the west with abundances of snow would benefit either. But who am i to say….. i am just a doctor not a dato’…..
With reference to Money on Defense proposing a national sorry day…. i think its a brilliant idea…. we could all have ANOTHER public holiday and its called a national sorry day….. but to be honest with you, 365 days in a year ARE national sorry days in MAL- asia, take this…..
flash floods in Sg. besi?- new smart tunnel, lots of revenue from tolls and still we have floods- HEY, ITS GOD’S WILL!…..
HIKING FUEL PRICES???? we have our financial adviser/minister of defense/upcoming youthful PM to say- its time to review your budget ladies and gentleman, the government CANT DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU!
now you see where i am coming from…… Malaysia is a rich country…. it is as well so beautiful that i easily shed tears thinking the state of it and its people… we have probably the best forest in that region, thats fine we deforest it, make more money all in the name of KEMAJUAN- SATU LAGI PROJEK DARIPADA KERAJAAN BARISAN NASIONAL…. we have security (sorry NAT- i mean ’security’ in the BIGGER scheme of things i.e NOT IRAQ!), we have what seems like unlimited resources…. but i dont think any of us gets the bite of the cake….. just look, with all the corruption that we have, we are still economically stable…. the problem is sadly we invest in things that is mainly just for show, we have a tic-for-tac attitude from the very hands that feeds us e.g. you want comfort and not sitting on your ass for hours in a traffic jam- pay up you suckers! and then we are left with no choice…
we have idiots running the country not even half as qualified as we are….. an effing rail station conductor now basically owns half of a district in selangor!!! no wonder he has no idea of:
1. architecture and design, and may i add feng shui (to be honest with you, i dont either but im keen to learn from our chinese comrades!)
2. respecting the law/ court order…..
3. keeping accounts tally etc. etc…..
His idea of getting rich and better life is to build a hedious looking palace….
Now this sounds very sensitive isnt it, bordering on internal security…. but do you guys feel my frustration…… a group of people works 3x as hard than another group but gets 3x less than the latter……. The issues i am putting forward are very volatile and i am seeing a sojourn right behind bars with no lights…..
islamic state or not it doesn’t matter. I would rather be in a non-islamic state where justice and equality and useful sustainable investment and proper governance and transparency and equal rights (oh bloody hell the list is so long but you guys get the message) is abundant, than an islamic state with a ’speak-only-when-spoken-to attitude’….
This is from a muslim author…
Glory be to God who has combined light with darkness and joined the trans-phenomenal which is above space with the phenomenal which is in space; and glory be to Him who has created in light such a strong love for darkness that it seeks to unite with darkness in order that it may through the union increase in its brilliance and grow in its radiance. It is just as when you want to polish a mirror in order to make it brighter, you coat it with dust so that it may shine more brightly by contrast with the blackness of the dust, and increase in its brilliance by contrast with the dirtiness of the clay.
Now,
here is the interesting part, Najib read Abdullah’s speech text if I am not mistaken. However what intrigued me most is that the fact that you snipe on Najib with issues surrounding him instead of digressing the main issue.
Najib (or Abdullah) says that Malaysia is an Islamic Nation/country while this was vehemently rejected by MCA youth and other parties by saying that instead Malaysia is a secular nation. They even refresh Pre Mahathir prime ministers. We then see the standoff between MCA youth and UMNO youth on this issue.
So what I am more interested in (as I believe many people do) is that what is PKR’s stand or which I think is more important YOUR stand on this issue. Do you agree that Malaysia is an islamic or should be an Islamic state or would you rather have a secular Malaysia? I am more interested in your views (As a politician and a citizen of Malaysia) on this issue rather than a dead mongolian girl or whether this is a cover up by Najib.
I think this is particularly important as it helps me and the general public understand more of your political philosophy. I hope that your answer may not influenced by the background of PKR or BA but instead of your own personal stand.
Let’s push Najib aside for once hear what Tian Chua thinks of this Issue.
