My trip to Pekan also gave me an opportunity to visit our members of Parti Keadilan Rakyat in Kuantan.
The travel to Kuantan is now about 2 and half hours on the highway, the only hazard is the speeding fine. Tek Hai who drove with me got stopped and booked.
We have a new and energetic member Nancy in Kuantan. She joined the party sometime this year. Our former women chief Fuziah Salleh had stood for Kuantan parliament twice. We continue to work hard to capture this seat.
Kuantan is a nice town with interesting architecture. The main government offices and many buildings still maintain a 1970s look.

Not sure what building is it, but I like the style

KeADILan’s office in Kuantan is located at downtown Kuantan. Ironically it is situated directly opposite Umno building.

Our Kuantan office is very spacious, it has big rooms for Kuantan parliament division and Pahang state liaison committee. It has been functioning for about 2 years. Pahang members are lucky to have such good facility.
After a brief discussion with our activists in the office. We went to Swan Restaurant for dinner before taking off to Pekan. We plan to organize a election campaign fundraising dinner in August.

All voters should use their votes smartly. Such is the beginning of a new era in politics of fairness and smartness……..something that had been taken for granted for far too long. A reminder to enroll and vote should be in the public agenda.
Pekan, Kuantan and Pahang as a whole are ‘interesting’ spots.
Its sad to see people using the “tak apa” attitude on things that they are unhappy about.
