The Government’s reaction to peaceful assembly has become more and more paranoiac. Since this morning, the police have again put up road blocks and checkpoints all over KL, and I was also informed, in major highways throughout the country.
As a result: massive traffic jam in Klang Valley.

A friend of mine, Ong has helped to modify the Lingam ringtone. The earlier ringtone created by Lin is too large to be sent by the MMS system. The following is a trimmed version, it can be easily forwarded around. (Download here)

With the “korret, korret, korret” ringtone, lawyers can designate it for their ‘special‘ channel. Imagine lawyer receives call with the ringtone, rushing off to a secluded corner to have a undisturbed negotiation.

The story of the three-person Investigation Panel on Lingamgate reminds me of Graeae in Greek mythology. Abdullah Badawi announced on Friday (16 Nov) that a royal commission will be set up to investigate the rots in the judiciary.
This is indeed an interesting development. Last Thursday (15 Nov) the New Straits Times started using this phrase “Lingamgate”.
How did the PM come to the decision of appointing a royal commission remains a mystery. [...]

I am not sure what “Wayang” the Malaysian Royal Police Force (PGRM) is playing. The IGP Musa Hassan claimed that 254 people had been arrested by the police on 10 Nov. However, BERSIH organizers only recorded 34. I was among the group who went the IPK Jalan Hang Tuah to support the detained demonstrators.
