Yellow Festival of Light

Anwar held a press conference to greet our Indian community “Happy Deepavali”. He reiterated that he and the entire KeADILan leadership will be attending the peaceful gathering of BERSIH on Saturday 10 November.
I think Deepavali has a symbolic message for BERSIH gathering. Deepavali is the celebration of the Light that conquer the forces of evil and corruption. To celebrate the Festival of Light this year, Kuala Lumpur will be flooded with bright yellow on 10 November.
Even for citizen who are not in Kuala Lumpur, they are urged to wear yellow shirt, or just put on a bit of yellow—tie, scarf, tudung, ribbon, arm band, hat, anything will do. Let the light of yellow shines and dispel darkness.
The ruling power will mobilize all its functionaries: the police, the bureaucracy and their political alliance to do all they could to preserve the domination of corruption. However just as Light eventually vanished Naraka the King of Hell, Justice will prevail.
Be part of the yellow wave that will change Malaysia’s history. Let us converge in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. You alone may not be counted, stand with 100 thousands people to make a difference.
