Police (back)biting

This young man who claimed to be a police officer alleged that I bit him on his arm.
Later I discovered in a video record that he actually hit my head while I was being forcefully taken by the police. It is most ridiculous that I could be accused of assaulting anyone under those circumstances.
I am amazed that the BN propaganda machine could spin such an incredible story to defame me. The NST (Dec 12) not only reported this unverified story, it even carried the issue of biting in the headlines of the front page.
I have no hatred towards ordinary policemen and women. Despite many unhappy incidents, I hold no grudges against the police force. In fact, I deeply sympathize with the predicament faced by my fellow-citizens in uniform.
The mass arrest at Parliament on December 11 last week was shameful for all rational thinking Malaysians. Razak Ismail and I, who arrived at the entrance to Parliament at about 10:30hr, were the first to be arrested. Our arrest was recorded on video by many people. Anyone who watches the videos would be rather puzzled: how on earth could Tian Chua bite the arm of the policeman?
The videos clearly show police officers using excessive force. I was totally incapacitated by 6-7 men. I was myself surprised by how I was able to withstand the brute force.
I am once again sad to see the police being used by politicians in this manner. I believe no members of the police force like to be exploited as tools to protect the ruling elite. I am sure a majority of them want change too.
When dog bites man, it is not a story. When man bites dog, it is a big story. When Tian Chua bites police, aha, it is even a bigger story. Umno newsletter New Shit Times pounced on the story to make Tian Chua the villain of the piece, and also to sell more papers. Unfortunately, NST’s circulation keeps on diving, not for anything else, but because it is Umno’s newsletter. Anything associated with Umno is a goner. Showshow much hatred the people has for Umno. I am waiting for the next headline, which is Tian Chua bites IGP.

It’s literally Brawns versus Brains i.e. (Tian Chua’s Brains).
In the Keadilan TV’s video, at approximately 4:50 to 4:55, Tian Chua was heard pleading “You Jangan Pukul. You Jangan Pukul huh”. I really don’t understand how Tian Chua could have bitten the policeman.
The police were shouting “Wartawan Tepi-tepi.” If you wartawan (pressmen) were not at the scene, no one would have known that Tian Chua got beaten. I have YET to read anything in the press highlighting about Tian Chua being beaten.
Jelas dan nyata, pemuda yang menuduh Tian gigit tu (apa bukti dia anggota Polis?) memukul Tian dengan buku lima sehingga Tian menjerit ‘jangan pukul saya’.
