This has again raised many issues on our governmental's structural problems, esp. lack of independence of several enforcement departments, e.g., police, legal, corruption, media etc.

How can the enforcement departments perform check and balances activities on the government, if they are not even independent from them? Even a kid like me would understand this segregation of duties issue!

I had lost my trust to our government in the beginning stage for setting up 3 persons investigation panel. It was a wise decision from Datuk Seri Anwar not to disclose the whistle blower before royal commision had been formed......you know, role of ACA over here is to protect the culprits but to get the whistle blowers apprehended.

Thanks TC, this is exactly what we have been discussing around town. This Haidar`s Royal commission is a massive joke on the people. What`s more the PM is part of the rip-off, he runs away to Spain hoping the furore would die down.

Haidar should have recused himself. The bias is apparent.

Tian,

Looks like very high level of conspirasy to cover-up certain people/s and many things having dallying the matters for such long, but having read the transcript of the telephone conversation of the "Liggamtape",
I doubted Linggam's chatting partner at the other end was Loh Mui Fah.
