Protes Barang Naik

Now BN is synonym with “Barang Naik”. We have warned the government the risk of hyper-inflation a long time ago.
Instead of implementing prudent measures to stimulate economic growth, the government was busy launching various megaprojects and corridors. These projects bring in no investment in short-term, but partly contributed to inflationary pressure.
Anyway, it looks like we are heading towards a high inflation. The public can also see clearly that the government is merely delaying the bad news until after the election.
We are certain that there will be another petroleum hike after the general election, if BN wins. Others too will go up with the rocket.
Today at 15:00hr, opposition parties and NGOs will gather at the KLCC to oppose to petrol hike and inflation.
Last night, I was told that a court order has been served on me, and other activists: Dr Hatta, Arul etc. The government must be very afraid — of us, but not the inflation.

Last night, I was flabbergasted by the speech of our transport minister, Datuk Seri Chan. According to him, in fact all of us should have appreciated hard work and considerate of our government which is willing to subsidise about Rm40 billion yearly onto petrol retailing and our petrol price is the second cheapest in this reagion after Brunei.
