Abdullah Badawi blamed Agong for his lie. He said he denied the dissolution of parliament yesterday (12 Feb) because he was yet to get the consent of the Agong.
His deputy Najib should be congratulated for his sense of humors:

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 (Bernama) — Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak says opposition parties are full of lies unlike the Barisan Nasional (BN) government that can help turn the people’s dreams and ambitions into reality.
He also said changes made by the BN government could be seen now.
“We can show that today is better than yesterday and tomorrow is better than today, God willing. Can opposition parties do it? No they can’t,” he said when launching the Kedah Umno election machinery in Felda Lubok Merbau recently.

Oh, I am quite used to their lies already. Whenever they say yes, it usually means no. I have to refer to some old issues: -
a) economy good = economy bad
b) BERSIH gathering with 4000 people = BERSIH gathering with 40,000 people
c) non-peaceful street rally = peaceful street rally
d) police bitten by Tian Chua = police WHACKED the hell out of Tian Chua (see Tian Chua’s old blog)
This is the man who talks a great deal about integrity, about being transparent, about Islam Hadhari, about trustworthiness, etc. yet he lied openly to the Malaysian public. Hidup UMNO!!
