We are now entering the third day of the election campaign.
Yesterday (27 Feb) I held a press conference to formally invite Lim Si Pin to have a debate. I hope he does not think that my call is a challenge. I think candidate should be fair for the voters. The voters have the right to know what we stand for and how we look at things.
Debate does not mean confrontation. Our exchange might even facilitate the reaching of consensus between both of us. Thus debate is a necessity in a general election, otherwise how could the voters make an informed choice?
I read from the press that Si Pin does not want to waste time, and instead he is more interested to do work. A press report also quoted him for saying election debate is a Western notion and not suitable for Malaysian political environment.
I think the reply was rather unfortunate. If Si Pin think that debate is not his cup of tea, then he should reconsider whether he is wise to seek a parliamentarian job.
The issue is very simple. Voters cannot determine our competence by just looking at our election posters, or by the feel of our handshake. For the voters to distinguish who is best to represent their interest.
I must say it is not my desire to embarrass him in the debating ring. In fact, the voters in Batu are waiting for such opportunity.

Yes Si Pin,we want to hear you debating the issues. Accept the invitation!!! Show us your true colour.
Dear Tian Chua ,
I wish you and opposition parties all the best in winning this election.
Ask Lim Si Pin to withdraw as election is all a western notion! His childish reply shows that he is too far from being a good and able MP! At least his lo tao is better than him! Vote Tian Chua in to show how he can correct the corrupted system!
Brother, we don’t see ur election campaign trail. Where to get them?
It’s bullshit to say that debate for election candidate is for western society. What a load of rubbish. Either he or she is unfit or shying away from reality.
The voetrs have every right to know the sort of candidates that is up there to vote in a closer manner i.e.knowing the capability of the candidte and what he or she stands for.
Hence the voters need to vote smartly.
Rawang candidate came and distributed flyers but their flyers do not contain any of their contact information such as e-mail address, blog or operation address. Please provide such information on Keadilan website for that people can provide feedback.
Most people I have spoken to are ready to vote for change.
I am with another political party, but would like to see you in parliament to kick some BN arses.
go man, win this election.
go show them what you’re made of.
My vote for u KEADILAN!!!
To rid of the dead wood of Malaysian politics, one that is dominated by racial sentiment, one that ignore others well-being,……a change in direction is warranted. Thus vote wisely and do not waste your vote.
