Campaign vs Security
Mar 2nd, 2008 by Tian
Lim Si Pin has been very quiet throughout the election campaign. So far all his canvassing activities have been accompanied either by the former MP Ng Lip Yong or his daddy Keng Yaik.
I expressively stated my disappointment to the press (see Sin Chew 1/3/2008). I doubt Sdr Lim realized the role of a legislator. If an aspired legislator could not engage a debate with the opponent, then s/he should consider applying for another job.
It seems that Si Pin has nothing to say on anything. It is sad that as a young leader, he did not take any initiative to charter a new political culture. BN continues to abuse public resources for partisan purposes.
Today (1 March) I held a press conference to expose a case of clear abuse. In front of my office there was once a small police station. The police post, a few months ago, has been vacated. Now the intension is known: the police post has been transformed into BN election campaign center.
I hope Si Pin is not aware of such abuse of power. Now he should advice his machinery to respect the rule of fair play. Please return the community their police post.
The people need more police posts to ensure their life and security protected. Lim should not deny the people their rights to safety in life.
Dear Mr. Tian Chua,
I wish to seek your assistance on some bus issues at my residential area here at 41/2 miles Jalan Ipoh. We have been living in this area for the past 20+ years and recently there is a bus depot being built at this residential area. We have made several complaints to the local council and there are no response to our calls. The bus company apparently runs the bus services between KL - LCCT under the bus panel Star Shuttle. We are leaving in fear since the day the bus depot started its operation here. The bus drivers are getting in & out of the depot throughout the day and it has become a nuisance to the residents here. Not to mentioned that our private property being damaged by the busses ie. our cars parked in front of our house are being scratched and dented by the bus drivers who are finding it hard to manoeuvre between the small lanes in this residential area. I wonder how can the local authority especially DBKL approved such operations for bus depot to be stationed at a residential zone and not to be miss the CVLB which approves the commercial licencing permit to these busses without checking whether the bus company have a proper commercial area for their bus depot. The environmental department should also be blame for not carrying out its duty with the pollution from these busses such as the gas emmission, noise as well as the waste pollution from their temporary sanitary compartment placed at the depot. Last but not least we hope that our cry here can be heard and justice can be done to replace back our good old days whereby our children can play outside the house and our cars are in good smacking condition whenever we parked our cars outside our own house.
We have been bullied.
Thank you.
Regards
Lim Si Pin is busy getting ready to host a big dinner party for residents of Taman Kaya, Springfield and surrounding neighbourhoods. It will be held in Chung Hwa Secondary school tonite and reportedly there are 200 tables. Its a clear sign that he has no substance and has to resort to other ‘expensive’ mean to winning votes.
Hello to Saudara Tian Chua,
Dear friends pls support keadilan this time.
Break the Keris of UMNOputras!!!
Keep up the pressure and momentum. We need a fresh mandate to run this country. A mandate that does not play racial policy nd discriminate the minorities.
Enough is enough, a change or at a check on the Cabinet is a must in a true democracy.
Dear Tian Chua,
I had been collecting evidences of people breaking law in front of the police staiton. These people are just ordinary people. Obviously I am not surprised when BN made use of the pondok.
