Doesn't this action connote a threat to the security of the country? Is it because he is a 'Tun' which brings the question why both him and Tun Ling was so quickly bestowed the title immediately upon their retirement? I think if I were to openly call for the resignation of the PM in public, I would certainly be whisked off in a black maria in matter of seconds! And our DPM..why should the government use its public resources i.e. the police force (which is paid for by taxpayers) to arrest RPK when the case refers to his personal interest. If anything, DPM should hire his own lawyers to sue RPK if he thinks RPK has tarnished his image. I am a good taxpayer but it pains me when I think how all my hard earned money is being misused by the government and not for the good of the people in this country. So do not be mistaken that Pak Lah is not going to take advantage of it. Mahathir should have realized that Pak Lah is not as stupid as he thought him to be. Anybody for that matter when he/she has the power he/she certainly cling on to it and make full use of it. Quiting UMNO in such a hasty manner will not help solve the already troubled UMNO but instead put UMNO into bigger problem. BN would also be greatly affected and so would the whole country. He would never want to think of the consequences of his doing by leaving UMNO as long as his personal objective is achieved. I believe he is still as power crazy even after he had stepped down.
