What DR. M do is not actually what he say he is doing! All he do all these while is just to give the UMNO/BN politician that is unsatisfy with the current government another choice.

So now istead of these People that are unhappy with Pak Lah have another choice. Before this their only(more likely) choice was to "lompat" over to PKR. Now they can join him.

This is not a move to go against UMNO, but buying UMNO an "insurance Policy".

If those that want to leave UMNO join him(with enough number of parliment representatives) instead of joining PRK. He might be able to stop PRK from forming government like most of the people predict it will be. And he will have enough power to influence BN again.

If no body leave. then his might only tarnish a little bit of his own name. but he is still ok with that.

only thing he dont wan is that PKR win the gorvernment and take him to court.

how can they quit for a principle when they are not principled ?
parasites in UMNO depend on the projects dished out to them by the leadership, and thats how the leadership holds them by their balls to ensure their loyalty at the expense of the rakyat !!

oh my goodness- when will it stop ! now its TDM who quits, then Mokhzani but Mukhriz is staying on with UMNO. on the other corner, you have Mat Taib saying 'history not on TDM's side', then Rafidah says TDM not loyal and of all people Tun Musa Hitam jumping into the fire and joining in the band wagon against TDM but for Pak Lah - fingers pointing, show of loyalty by Sarawakian MPs and community leaders recently, come come now- this is a show - right ?? how i wish Hollywood would actually assess the performance of our politicians and consider anyone of them as a contender for 'best actor' or 'best supportive actor' role and many others and i am certain quite a number of our politicians can actually win- but the best veteran outstanding actor would be none other than Tun Dr. Mahathir for his 'crying' role during the UMNO General Assembly sometime ago best actress Rafidah Aziz whilst Pak Lah best actor for 2008 !!
this is going on for too long and too far - not to mention TDM playing with racialist sentiments and some other prominent politician crying foul and using racial sentiments to improve their performance and gaining support and popularity. when is this going to end, may i ask - when is UMNO / BN going to grow up and change when all of the other ASEAN member countries are laughing at us - and we are in actually fact so much behind in economic achievements- and dont quote me figures or statistics indicating we are far better off than our neighbours as those are all figures being played up by the government and real figures are hidden amongst the many other statistics.
i think all parties should stop this bickering - and carry on with what it is suppose to do for the rakyat - election is over- voters have decided so get on with work. TDM should just enjoy his retirement and if he feels he is an elder stateman then act as one like those in the US or former UK PM - only comment when your advise are being asked for and if not just enjoy your retirement and continue with your responsibilities at Petronas, and the Perdana Leadership foundation.
for the PM if you can't perform in carrying out your duties and responsibilities then 'quit' and hand it over to the DPM and if he can't then 'quit' and let others take over - dont tell me nearly 26 million malaysians we can't even hv one sensible leader to assume the position of PM ! to say there is a leadership vacuum, or that there is no better candidate to lead the country is totally ridiculous statement and utter lies and we malaysians are no stupid as we have shown the BN led government on March 8 GE ! so either your shape up or your ship out- simple- dont make things complicated.
if this problem persist - i would urge the Majlis Raja-Raja especially the current Agong to seek legal advise on this current predicament and to restore confidence in the government- if it is within his constitutional power and authority to meddle with the affairs of the state for the good of the people then His Majesty with the full support of the Majlis Raja-Raja with eminent Sultan of Perak being former Lord President should dissolve Parliament and call for another GE in order to solve the present problems before the situation becomes worse. failing to do so, then His Majesty is not fulfilling his duties as the protector of the rakyat as he promised and swear to do so when he ascended the throne and the Majlis Raja-Raja has also failed in carrying out their role as mornarchs of their respective states within the federation of Malaysia. our country is facing a crisis of governance and a erosion of the constitution and the in-effectiveness of the mornarchy to solve a critical situation by not taking action. in the event this crisis persist, it is the rakyat who will be suffering and it is only right for the rakyat to organize themselves to show to the government that it is high time they clean their act and to start govern and not to continue their selfish bickering. failure to do so, the rakyat being the 'master' of the government should send a clear message for the BN government to call for yet another election as a means to settle the teething problem faced by UMNO.
the rakyat in order to show their disgust on this present predicament can organise not rallies or protest as they would be illegal but i suppose one method is by writing to the PM on this matter or just NOT PAY TAXES !! as it is not worthwhile to pay taxes to a government which is no longer effective or efficient in fighting for the causes of the rakyat at all even after the rakyat have indicated what they wish for during the last GE !!

After TDM resigned, everything looks exeptionally calm, with only a few high ranking politicians making unwanted and non pleasant claims and remarks. You should know who. The usual bad mouthing politicians.

Watch man. Still waters runs deep and with killing turbulences underneath.

Never underestimate TDM.

Of course those "putras' will not quit, there is still a lot out there to be "dugged" and 'retained". This is typical of "who you know and not what you know".
UMNO (lama) is wanting to turn over a new leaf, but some serious 'cleaning' is needed or else they can kiss goodbye to the episode of change.
