Dear Tian Chua

to digress a little from the above. Would like to pose the following questions:

a) Has the opposition brought up anything about the disastrous loss of Pulau Batu Puteh to Singapore?

b) what steps has the government taken to prevent future potential loss over territorial disputes such as these ?

c) What is your personal take on this?

As a Malaysian, I feel truly disappointed & saddened that an island that rightfully belongs to Malaysia can be so easily lost to a tiny dot like S'pore. Not because we are inferior or less smart. Our only mistake was to have nincompoops represent us over 50 long years. We lost on technical grounds & the fact that we are not proactive enough in defending our rights . While the bozos were internally bickering & busy filling their pockets, Singaporeans were actively staking their claim over Pulau Batu Puteh, ie. building communication towers etc. Talking about defending so called sovereignity, but can't even manage to defend an island the size of football field!

The worst thing is that the minister involved proclaimed it a "win-win" situation for Malaysia. Win my foot! All we got was 2 tiny rocks in the South China Sea. Does he think us as idiots?
The irony is that all this could have been prevented had we taken the right step in protecting our rights.

Pls feedback . TQ

Going by the general feedback, there is certainly a waste of tax payers money by having some ill-informed Ministers in the Parliament. These elected representative should be more conversant in their ministerial affairs and more presentable in the conduct of public speaking.
The nation needs more capable talents out there as the government machinery at its highest level seems to be lacking.

Salam YB Tian,

Have to agree with this. Even Ghapur Salleh of Kalabakan talked about being fair to both sides of the divide during the "prime time" of 30 mins live coverage. He echoed the sentiment that the same faces were being allowed to be seen on TV. The simple solution is to get the coverage extended for the whole session. Shabery Cheek take note. Let the people see the questions raised & the answers given. Allow the voters to see what their representatives are doing. For me, it has been an eye opener. I get to see who brings up intelligent issues and who answers sensibly. Obviously, we also get to see who the useless bums who always "buat kecoh".
