Yes we know that they are going to reject the motion. Walking out is justified. How about boycotting parliament or is there any other better option.

BOB MARLEY lyrics - “Redemption Song”

Old pirates, yes, they rob I;
Sold I to the merchant ships,
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit.
But my hand was made strong
By the ‘and of the Almighty.
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly.
Won’t you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
‘Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
‘Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it’s just a part of it:
We’ve got to fulfil de book.

Won’t you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
‘Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Accept the fact that PR not only need to deny 2/3 majority at Parlimental seat but to win to form a government so that PR can do the necessary reformation to our nation...

If Sept 16 cannot, do not give up. be remain strong and strenghten the brotherhood of Pakatan Rakyat... show and prove to Rakyat how PR can also be a good govering party at state level...

Beware of BN-UMNO ploys... be patient and plan smart and think of the consequences first before making any moves...

We, Rakyat remain to have faith with PR, pls do not let us down... and we remain very upset with the latest development played by our BN government...which is very much still in state of denial.

Today is 14th July. A dark cloud had over-shadowed the Malaysian Parliament House. First of all, no public was allowed to enter the House, not even the journalists. The journalists were hovering around outside the House anxiously. People were expecting a debate about no-confidence in PM to take place. Regretably the authorities tried to stop people from reporting the news.

Anyway, Pandikar, the Parliamentarian, had rejected the motion filed by Pakatan. That had resulted in a walk-out by Pakatan MPs. The move by the authorities was aproof that the Parliamentarians are the puppets of BN.

It was the people who had voted the MPs into Parliament. Why can't we expect the MPs to be people-friendly? Shouldn't BN MPs have an open-mind to explore ways in upholding democracy in the country through fair-play among both coalitions?

As expected the motion of no confidence against the PM has been thrown out by the speaker. What a great day it is for democracy. The Malaysians will suffer another 2 years.

Frankly, I expected the motion to be rejected..what do you expect from a speaker with an attitude like this Pandikar fella!! He acts like he is full of confidence and knows what he is doing..in reality we all know he is nothing but noise and puppet to his bosses..I don't know whose looks I despise more now, Pandikar's or Khairy's!!
By the way, I know this is a long shot, but is there any remote possibility that BN and PR could form some sort of a separate 'joint forum' (outside of parliament), to be mediated by a neutral body or persons, to address the current economic crisis? I am sure there are great talents from both sides who, on non-partisan basis, can come up with good solutions to help the rakyat go through this difficult period....Ah well, fat hopes that BN will be so pragmatic right??..sighhh...
