Stupid & ridiculous
Jul 14th, 2008 by Tian

The behavior of Malaysian police force is simply stupid and ridiculous. OK, I mean don’t mean all the policemen and policewomen but the top echelon of the force who created the chaos in the city today (14 July).
The whole city’s population was held ransom by the security forces. I believe that hardship and bitterness were deliberately caused in order to instigate public anger against Anwar and Pakatan Rakyat.
PM said that the people should blame Pakatan for the gridlock in the city.
The police claimed that their intelligence report informed that Pakatan was mobilizing a huge demonstration in front of the Parliament House.
For argument sake, even if there were to be a mass rally at the Parliament, does it warrant such dramatic maneuver? In fact it is a norm for all democratic countries to have demonstrations at the parliament.
At a press conference in the afternoon, Kuala Lumpur police chief Mohd Sabtu Osman said 1600 personnels were deployed to counter the (imaginative) mass rally. However when he was asked how many demonstrators were expected to turn up, he answer: about 2500.
KL Police mobilized 1600 security personnels to tackle a peaceful assembly of only 2500?
As taxpayers, we must be very happy with our money well spent. Despite the inconveniences of traffic jam and high fuel price, let’s be grateful to BN for making the city feel safer.
Kuala Lumpue Police Chief Mohd Sabtu claimed that the operation known as Ops Padam was successful. However when the press questioned whether he had considered the negative economic impact. Sabtu answered: I don’t care about the economy, but we are only concerned with security.
The authorities were so nervous that the court even issued an injunction against Anwar. On Sunday, the police delivered a court order on Anwar barring him from appearing in the Parliament, and 5km radius around the Parliament. (The judge might have signed the order on the golf field!)
5km radius from the Parliament?
Just a day earlier, on Saturday (12 July) the police requested Anwar to come to KL Police HQ at 14:00hr today (14 July) to be invested on the sodomy allegation.
Evidently they did not know that KL Police HQ is located about 3 km from the Parliament House.
can’t we all see that it is a deliberate move by BN to get the public frustrated so that in due time, any planned movements from the opposition will no longer enjoy the support from the people.
Tian, I think you guys should call for Syed Hamid Albar to RESIGN.
He said the roadblocks “were carried out in the interest of the public”, and “The public want their safety, not demonstrations or interference with their daily life.”
Like, what the???!!!
That shows how wonderful our ‘authorities’ think. They have never used their pea-sized brains and you asking them to check whats a 5km radius from Parliment?
Its a bloody laugh at their face.
Our govt officers and its high-ranking guys are all bodohs la. See for yourself just go to a GLC office. Wallah…..truth reveals. They have the DUH look, if not out for teh, sell kuih or barang-barang…pak & mak lepaks then you get the occasion smart ones who turns out to be like the rest…just to blend IN.
LONG LIVE MALAYSIA…LONG LIVE STUPIDITY!
I am dumbfounded by the order against DSAI…he is summoned to the KL Police HQ but he is not allowed to even go near the KL Police HQ (5 km radius bar right?)…so what is the poor guy supposed to do!! It’s a case of ‘damned if you do and damned if you dont’…But I guess utter stupidity of utterly stupid orders can only come from utterly stupid people…
By the way YB, I saw on TV (TV3 Nightline) how the Speaker ordered anyone who dared to stand up after Batu MP to leave the Dewan, following which the PR MPs really stood up and left the Dewan…Bravo…but I hope those idiots still remaining inside did not pass any stupid laws all by themselves without you guys there to challenge them!!
YB Tian,
VIVA LA BATU …..

Syed Hamid Albar revealed few blog sites that were calling for mass demo in Parliment even the PR leaders denied it. By the way, I thought the BN people once called the blogger liars. Suddenly they become so proactive to anything that shown up on blog sites. Becareful bloggers, devils has shown himself by monitoring blog sites.
Syed Hamid is a confirmed coward! It only shows that the police are incompetent fools in handling the traffic situation and treat Pakatan Rakyat people like wanted criminals or terrorists!!
He said the roadblocks “were carried out in the interest of the publicâ€, and “The public want their safety, not demonstrations or interference with their daily life
Yeah, the public want their safety.
We want the police to mobilize their squad to prevent
1. Snatch thieves
2. Mat Rempit
3. Break ins
4. Safety of the kids on the street.
For goodness sake, these are what we want..not traffic controller!
The police force interfered with our daily lives too much by setting up road blocks, etc.
