Another no surprise. In his first press conference, Razak Baginda re-emerged to defend his boss, Najib Razak (Malaysiakini 20 Nov) and made another attempt to clear Najib’s ascending path.
Razak is not telling us any new thing: Najib Razak and his wife had never met Altantuya. Razak Baginda went further to say that Altantuya played no role in the submarine deal.
This sound so familiarly identical with the statement by DPM and his wife.
Indirectly Razak Baginda was accusing Altantuya’s father Mr Sharibu Setev was lying or was misled (by the press?). He further stressed that Altantuya was the interpreter for submarine negotiation.
If Altantuya had no role in the deal, what was her leverage to ‘black-mail’ Razak?
Central to the puzzle of this mystery, what power bestowed to Razak which enabled him to instruct the UTK security officers to execute the crime?
The key witness to the case, Razak’s private investigator P. Balasubramaniam is still missing. We remember the shocking revelations in Bala’s statuary declaration.
We have no way to verify these facts. Last week (13 Nov), I raised a question to the Home Minister in Parliament:
(a) the latest position of Balasubramaniam? (b) did the police provide protection to him? Whether the police knew his whereabout?
The following is his written answer in Malay:

Pihak polis tidak mempunyai maklumat mengenai kedudukan beliau sekarang. Kali terakhir beliau dikesan pada 7 Julai 2008 apabila keterangan beliau dirakamkan di Bangkok.
…ingin saya tegaskan di sini bahawa pihak polis tidak pernah terlibat dalam memberi apa-apa perlindungan keselamatan terhadap beliau.
This confirmed that the police did meet Bala in Bangkok. In other words, Bala was able to leave the country and his movement was detected by the Government.
Unfortunately, our Home Minister decline to elaborate how this happened.

YB, everyone can simply accuse, even my Indonesian Maid can claim that Najib and Altantuya knows each other but till now, there is no single evident from you. If there no each other, at least the must be a picture of both of the in the same photo. But so far we never see any evident beside that poorly photoshopped image. We are now not stupid anymore, any accuse must be backed by evident
Julie Kimanis, you are plain naive and not intelligent enough. Cant you see a real-life drama staged by ARB, DPM & wife? Evidence of 2 contradicting SDs, the ‘duress’ claim… Din u see dat Bala was relaxed and smiling in his first SD? And he looked so washed out in the second, made a day later? As to photograph… there was one shown on TV showing the DPM at a dinner in Paris wt the Mongolian lass but the DPM shot it down as a fake. So? I don blame you. I blame the incompetent and biased/corrupted(?) judiciary/justice/judge? These people have just proved to the world of thinking and observing intellectuals that they are possible accomplices of/with the alleged and accused murderers!
If Najib and wife aren’t involved/are innocent, and since they are implicated, they shd care about their good name and counter their accusers in court, instead of getting Aminah’s husband to paint their image clean!
I m disgusted at the judiciary for not executing the case in a fair and just and thorough manner! The failure of the judiciary to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that ARB is totally guiltless is an insult to Malaysia and her people, and the intelligence of right-thinking intellectuals worldwide!!!
What kind of judicial reform are we witnessing before our very eyes today in Malaysia?

ARB, who is the father of Altantuya’s child? Care to do a DNA test to prove your innocence or Najib’s innocence???
If an ordinary guy like me can analyse, cant the judge in our justice system carry out a more foolproof/better investigation to prove beyond a shadow of doubt, either way, that the accused are either guilty or guiltless. Or perhaps the judge/AG/IGP/all in position of the country’s highest justice body lack the intelligence/competence/strength to stand/fight for truth and justice, in the true sense of the words? If they are not competent…if they have difficulty judging right from wrong, then they are in the wrong profession and therefore should quit their jobs and let those who are competent and fair and thorough take their positions!!! Are there any more fair/good and God-fearing men/women left in our country’s judiciary? If not, then we are dooomed as a nation!!! God, help us!
