Have to attend court today (10 Feb). 17 of us including Mat Sabu, personnel of Unit AMAL PAS and I had been charged for causing riots during BERSIH mass demonstration. We were arrested 10 November last year.

Although 27 Jan was a Sunday, a magistrate was brought into the lock-up (Pudu Jail). At 14:00hr, all the detainees were brought out from the cell to the front entrance.

Lately, the canteen of IPK became a regular hangout for me.
Whenever there was a mass arrest, the canteen area would be used for temporary retention site. Probably the area is the only available space big enough to hold a large number of people.

Now BN is synonym with “Barang Naik”. We have warned the government the risk of hyper-inflation a long time ago.
Instead of implementing prudent measures to stimulate economic growth, the government was busy launching various megaprojects and corridors. These projects bring in no investment in short-term, but partly contributed to inflationary pressure.
