An issue that raised certain people’s eyebrow was the mentioning of Royal Immunity in the Presidential policy speech at the opening of the Congress (29 Nov).

In Permatang Pauh, UMNO campaignhe sodomy issue. As we all know, Saifur Bukhari sworn in a Kuala Lumpur mosque a day before the nomination of Permatang Pauh By-election.

Unofficial result-Anwar get 17,652 majority.
Datuk Seri Anwar garnered 31,949 votes to win by a BIG majority of 17,652 votes, beating Ariff Shah of BN, who received only  14,297 votes.
