Abdul Razak Khalifah, a veteran political activist since 1960s passed away at about 16:00hr today. Razak has been a staunch member of Parti Rakyat.
I first worked with him in 1996. In the Second Asia-Pacific Conference on East Timor (APCET-2) held in Kuala Lumpur, he was arrested with the rest of us, including me.

Said Zahari, veteran journalist and political detainee, has been hospitalised since August 28. Dr Syed Husin, Hafizh (Suara Keadilan journalist) and I went to Hospital Purawi to visit him in the afternoon of Oct 3 (Tuesday).
