Heavy downpour on 10 June cause massive flood throughout Kuala Lumpur. That evening I was trapped in a coffee shop near KeADILan’s HQ in Brickfields. I waited for almost 3 hours before I could leave to rush to a meeting.

Most of Kampong Simpang Batu has been cleared and ready for development. But what will be the future of the kampong children? Traditional Malay village is fast disappearing in the city. Kuala Lumpur will be barren of any cultural heritage very soon.

Village folks and law enforcers waiting for final demolition order
